CITY TOUR OF AMMAN / JERASH
/ AJLUN NATURE RESERVE / AMMAN
Breakfast. Short City tour
through Amman, the ancient and modern capital
of Jordan, originally
built on seven hills. Continue North of Amman to
Jerash. visit Jerash,
the most beautiful and preserved Roman city in
existence. Continue to Ajlun Nature Reserve which is located in the Ajlun
highlands, around the
extension of a long valley known as Wadi Ain Zubia. It
consists of
Mediterranean-like hill country, dominated by open woodlands of
Oak and
Pistachio trees. Time for a nice trekking through the reserve. There
are
02 trails for hiking, it is left for the client convenience to choose,
either
between the Easy Trail or the Moderate Trail:
* Easy Trail:
Scenic Viewpoint Trail: 02 KM trail, taking 1-2 hours,
leading from
the campsite to the summit of a nearby hill overlooking the
reserve. The
area surrounding the trail is rich in wild flowers in the
springtime.
It’s an excellent sport for a picnic. Not far from the campsite you
will
find an old stone winepress. The return trip goes past the breeding
enclosures for the roe deer and back to the Visitors Center.

Moderate Trail:
Rockrose Trail: 08 KM trail, taking 4-5 hours, passing
across
heavily wooded valleys and ridges, inside and outside the nature
reserve. This highly scenic trail passes through the villages and olive
orchards and offers beautiful panoramic view to the West Bank and Syria.
There are steep scrambles en-route that demand a reasonable level of
fitness After a
refreshing walk, back to Amman for dinner and overnight.

AMMAN / MADABA / NEBO/
WADI MUJIB DANA Breakfast. Drive to
Madaba. Visit the home of the
most famous Byzantine Mosaics and most
of all the 6th century
map of the holy places in the biblical world. Continue to
Mount Nebo,
with its spectacular view of the Holy Land. Drive to Wadi Mujib
reserve
which is located within the deep Wadi Mujib gorge, which enters the
Dead
Sea at 400 meters below sea level. The reserve extends to Kerak and
Madaba Mountains to the north and south reaching 900 meters above sea
level in some places. This 1,300 meter variation in elevation, combined
with
the Valley’s year round water flow from seven tributaries, means
that Wadi
Mujib enjoys a magnificent biodiversity that is still being
explored and
documented today. Hiking in Wadi Mujib is the real
experience of adventure
in Jordan, with the choice of hiking in the
mountains (Easy Trail) or hiking in
the mountain waterfalls (Moderate
Trail):
* Moderate Trail: The Eagle Nest Trail (Malaqi / Circuit Trail):
The trail
starts from the Mujib Bridge area by the Dead Sea, then inside
the reserve
through the Wadi System until reaching the Mujib Gorge.
After that, hiking in
the Mujib River up to the Malaqi Area where
visitors will enjoy swimming in
the natural swimming pools then back to Mujib Bridge. It takes 5-6 hours.
Continue to Dana for dinner and
overnight either in the Guest House or the
Rummana Camp down the nature
reserve itself. |

DANA / PETRA
Breakfast. Full day visit of Dana with the following
choice of
hiking trials.
* Easy Trails: Traditional Tribal Arts Tour: One hour
visiting some spectacular viewpoints above Dana Village, exploring the
terraced gardens, meeting some local farmers, visiting a traditional
bakery, Dana’s Jam Factory and silver workshop.
* Easy Trails: Campsite Trail: Two hours circular walk around the
campsite area, a favorable place birding, nesting or migrating.
* Moderate Trails (up to 47 years old ): Fienan Copper Mine Tour:
Short trail, taking 1-2 hours, visiting ancient copper mines, Irone Age
sites, a Roman Tower and the impressive tell of Khirbet Fienan, with its
Byzantine churches and Christian and Islamic graves.
* Moderate Trails (up to 47 years old ): Water drops area Tour:
02 KM trail, taking 2.5 hours, starting from Al-Barra area to the
beautiful springs and ancient ruins in Nawatef area going back to Al-Barra
area. P.M. drive to Petra for dinner and overnight. |

PETRA
Breakfast. Full day sightseeing of the unique “rose-red”
city of Petra,
half as old as time, built by the Arab Nabateans who hewed their
monumental tombs, palaces, temples and treasury from the desert rock’s
sandstone in its’ natural hues of rose and gold. Dinner and overnight in
Petra |

PETRA / WADI RUM
Breakfast. Free Morning in Petra. Drive to Wadi Rum
– the valley of the
moon - for a visit with Bedouin Jeeps for 04 hours. Arrive
at the sunset
point where you will never see such sunset else where. Back
to the camp
for dinner and overnight. |

WADI RUM / AQABA / WADI ARABA / DEAD SEA / AMMAN
Experience
the sunrise
in Wadi Rum. Breakfast in the camp. Drive TO Aqaba Royal
Diving Center,
time for swimming and snorkeling in the Red Sea. Continue
via Wadi Araba
and the Dead Sea Coast. Stop at the Dead Sea Rest-House
for a Break and
for Bathing in the Dead Sea. Continue to Amman. Dinner
and overnight.
