AMMAN / JERASH / AJLOUN Breakfast.
Drive to North of Amman to
Jerash, the ancient Greco-Roman City of
Gerasa. Continue to Ajlun, arrive
Ajlun Nature Reserve which is located
in the Ajlun highlands, around the
extension of a long valley known as Wadi Ain Zubia. It consists of
Mediterranean-like hill country,
dominated by open woodlands of Oak and
Pistachio trees. Time for a nice
trekking through the reserve. Trekking in the
Moderate Trail:
* Moderate Trail: Rockrose Trail: 08 KM trail, taking
4-5 hours, passing
across heavily wooded valleys and ridges, inside and
outside the nature
reserve. This highly scenic trail passes through the
villages and olive
orchards and offers beautiful panoramic view to the
West Bank and Syria.
There are steep scrambles en-route that demand a
reasonable level of
fitness . Dinner and overnight at Ajlun Camp or
Qalat Al-Rabad Hotel.

AJLUN / DESERT CASTLES / SHOUMARI /
AZRAQ
Breakfast. Visit
of the
Desert Castles, built by the Omayyad Caliphs of Damascus in the 8th
century AD as hunting lodges. Wildly varied in architectural style: Qasr
Al-
Kharraneh, Qasr Amra and Azraq Castle. Depart to Azraq Wetland
Reserve,
a desert oasis with marshes and pools with unique wetland
trails for bird
watching. Visit the reserve and Socio-economic workshops
and have lunch
at Azraq lodge then visit Azraq Castle. Continue to
Shaumari Nature
Reserve, tour the reserve including Oryx safari and
watching the sunset,
then night safari to watch the elusive desert
animals. Dinner and overnight at
Azraq Rest-House. |

AZRAQ
/ MADABA / NEBO / WADI MUJIB Breakfast. Drive to Madaba,
visit the home of the most famous Byzantine
Mosaics and most of all the 6th
century map of the holy
places in the biblical world. Continue to Mount
Nebo, with its
spectacular view of the Holy Land. Drive to the lowest reserve
on earth Wadi Mujib, the reserve has several flowing rivers that bring
unexpected
richness of wildlife including fish, amphibians, birds, and large
endangered animals like the Syrian wolf. Mujib's river corridors offer
some of
the most dramatic hiking in Jordan, with beautiful narrow
canyons of
convoluted rocks and deep pools for swimming. Time for a
nice trekking
through the reserve. Trekking in the Moderate Trail:

The Eagle Nest Trail:
This 5-6
hour hike starts overland, through strange
"badland" scenery, before
reaching the Mujib River and gorge. It continues
up the riverbed until
the confluence with the malagi River, where there are
clear, natural
pools for swimming. Limited to 6 groups weekly and minimum
and maximum
groups sized of 5 and 25. A reserve guide always
accompanies this hike
and life jackets are provided. There Dinner and
overnight at Wadi Al
Mujib Camp. |

WADI
MUJIB / KERAK / DANA
Breakfast.
Drive to Kerak to visit the
Crusader Castle from the 12th
century. Continue to Dana. experience the
different hiking trails in
Dana. Arrive Rummana Campsite Tower, Hike to the
Camp or move by shuttle
truck and have lunch at Rummana Camp and Hike
the Campsite Trail.
Refreshments, Then Hike the Griffon vulture Trail then
prepare a
traditional meal and have dinner then move to star watching and
night
talk. Dinner and overnight at Rummana Camp or Dana Rest-House. |

DANA / PETRA Birding
in the early morning then Breakfast. Hiking trail
from Rummana Campsite
to Dana village then have lunch box then have a
tour through Dana Center
village, workshops, shop and gardens then join the
local people to make
some handicrafts (like pots and silver souvenirs) or
pick fruit in the
terraced gardens if it's in season. Enjoy sunset from Dana
Guesthouse
terraces. Proceed to Petra for dinner and overnight at hotel. |

PETRA Breakfast.
Full day sightseeing of the unique “rose-red” city of
Petra, half as old
as time, built by the Arab Nabateans who hewed their
monumental tombs,
palaces, temples and treasury from the desert rock’s
sandstone in its’
natural hues of rose and gold. Dinner and overnight in
Petra. |

PETRA
/ WADI RUM
Breakfast. Drive
to Wadi Rum, the valley of the moon.
There is two OPTIONS Time
for a nice trekking through the desert. Trekking
in the Hard Trail:
* Bedouin Mountain Climb:
A hard mountain
trail, taking about 12 hours.
It starts from the Nabatean Temple by Rum
Village, where a competent
Bedouin guide will lead you in stages to the
top of the second highest
mountain in Wadi Rum, at 1754 meters above sea
level. The views from the
top are truly spectacular.
OR 4 x 4 tour in Wadi Rum for 04 hours. Drive to a special point to
experience the desert Sunset. Dinner and overnight at Wadi Rum Deiseh
Camp. |

WADI RUM / AQABA / WADI ARABA / DEAD SEA / AMMAN Experience
the sunrise in Wadi Rum. Breakfast in the camp. Drive to Aqaba Royal
Diving Center, time for swimming and snorkeling in the Red Sea. Continue
via Wadi Araba and the Dead Sea Coast. Stop at the Dead Sea Rest-House
for a Break and for Bathing in the Dead Sea. Continue to Amman. Dinner
and overnight. (Possibility for extension in Aqaba or Dead Sea) |
